Research Security

The University's research security framework is firmly grounded in core values such as honesty, transparency, accountability, objectivity, inclusivity, fairness, and stewardship. (HOOP 233).

The research security framework is intended to ensure that the University complies with State of Texas and US Government requirements for research security, such as the National Security Presidential Memorandum 33 and implementation guidelines and Texas Education Code Sec. 51.956

The goal of the research security program is to uphold core values: honesty, transparency, accountability, objectivity, inclusivity, fairness, and stewardship while empowering the research community to recognize and address challenges in research integrity and foreign influence.
