Export Control

The University of Texas System (UT System) policy for compliance with federal export control regulations is based upon maintaining an open, fundamental research environment.  UTHealth Houston encourages the exchange of research and technology consistent with U.S. national security and nuclear nonproliferation objectives.  Although most research at UTHealth Houston is excluded from the U.S. export control regulations, UTHealth Houston will comply with all export control regulations, including obtaining any required export licenses, for the transfer of export controlled materials, data, technology, or equipment to a foreign national, either in the United States or abroad.
