General Performance Management Questions

Perform2Achieve Technical Support

Perform2Achieve Data

All employee data in Perform2Achieve is loaded from UTHealth Houston's PeopleSoft Human Resources Information System (HCM).

To correct data in Perform2Achieve, please submit the appropriate personnel action form the System Data Resources (SDR) forms website.

Incorrect Manager in P2A

  • Verify "Reports To" information in PeopleSoft displays the appropriate Manager
  • Verify the "Reports To" position number in PeopleSoft is accurate
  • Submit a Personnel Action Form to SDR if either is incorrect

Incorrect Manager in P2A

(During Annual Appraisals)

  • Verify "Reports To" information in PeopleSoft displays the appropriate Manager
  • Verify the "Reports To" position number in PeopleSoft is accurate
  • Submit a Personnel Action Form to SDR if either is incorrect
  • Submit a ServiceNOW Ticket and enter "P2A Data Update Request" in the subject line.

Manager on Leave of Absence

If an employee's supervisor is on a leave of absence and is unable to complete required performance management activities in the system, submit a ServiceNOW ticket to request performance forms be managed by another person. Enter "P2A Manager LOA Request".

Manager Leaves UTHealth Houston

If a manager leaves UTHealth Houston, forms will automatically be routed to the new manager. If a new manager is not identified in PeopleSoft, the appraisal form will route to the next higher level supervisor.

System Requirements

Perform2Achieve is powered by SuccessFactors, a fully web-based system. Users will need an Internet connection and a system that meets the requirements outlined below.

We are committed to supporting the most recent versions of Internet Explorer. Support for IE7 will be dropped in May 2014.

The supported Internet Explorer browsers are used in certification testing. There is no explicit testing of Internet Explorer compatibility mode.

Google and Mozilla release continuous updates to their Chrome and Firefox browsers. We make every effort to fully test and support the latest versions as they are released. However, if defects are introduced with OEM-specific browser software, we cannot guarantee fixes in all cases.
Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
  • 1.6 or higher to use video and audio recording
  • 1.7.0.6 or higher to use the learning management system (LMS) offline player
  • JRE is also required to use the learning proxlet for cross-domain SCORM content

To use general functionality, SuccessFactors does not require you to install any plug-ins or JRE on end-user systems.

Due to recent changes in Java security policy and Oracle's introduction of the JRE security baseline concept, you may have to upgrade your client JRE to the most recent version so that these JRE-dependent functions work correctly.

SuccessFactors is not dependent on any specific operating system. All capabilities are accessible through a web browser.

Network bandwidth Recommended connection speed 300 - 400 kbit/s In general, SuccessFactors requires no more bandwidth than is required to surf the Internet. All application modules are designed for speed and responsiveness with minimal use of large graphic files.
Screen resolution XGA 1024x768 (high color) or higher
Minimum recommended cache size 250 MB SuccessFactors is a Web 2.0 application. We recommend allowing browser caching because SuccessFactors uses it heavily for static content such as image files, CSS files, and JavaScript files. If you clear your cache, the browser will not perform as well until the deleted files are downloaded again to the browser and cached for use next time. Newer web pages must be enabled.
