Advancing Epilepsy Care by integrating Clinical Care, Research, and Education
Under the leadership of Drs. Tandon, Lhatoo, and Zhang, the Texas Institute for Restorative Neurotechnologies will establish a synergistic multidisciplinary team with unified clinical, research, and education objectives.
Building on the framework provided by the Texas Comprehensive Epilepsy Program, the Texas Institute for Restorative Neurotechnologies will integrate clinical care, research, and academic training to provide the best care for patients in Houston and beyond. Moreover, the institutional structure will establish an overarching focus on the clinical neurosciences of tomorrow. With a concentrated focus, we will also explore innovative therapies for functional neurosurgical disorders, brain-machine interfaces, neuroinformatics, big data, and precision neurological therapies.
