Early Career Epilepsy Research Award and Conference

Date: Thursday, May 1, 2025

We are delighted to invite early career epilepsy researchers to submit a 200-word abstract for consideration to present at the upcoming EpiEx Conference for Young Researchers on May 1, 2025. This conference will highlight the best epilepsy-related research within the Texas Medical Center. The invitation is open to but not limited to medical students, undergraduate students, graduate students, residents/fellows, post-doctoral students and early career faculty (within 2 years of starting positions).

Presenting at our conference will provide you with the opportunity to showcase your work, engage with peers in the field, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding of epilepsy. We encourage you to submit your abstract for consideration and look forward to potentially welcoming you as a presenter at our conference. We will also be offering a cash prize for those chosen to participate.

The submission deadline for the 200-word abstract is April 1, 2025. Please submit to TIRN.events@uth.tmc.edu. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
