Volunteer with McGovern Medical School Alumni

Board of Trustees

From the moment you graduate from McGovern Medical School, you become a member of our Alumni Association. Guided by our 28-member Board of Trustees, the association provides a wonderful way for graduates to stay in touch with each other and the school that started them on their medical journeys. This group hosts wonderful events throughout the year where you can connect with old friends and make new ones.

Women in Medicine

Women in Medicine is a wonderful way for women in the field to connect with each other. Attend an upcoming event to meet others working in medicine, or volunteer to lead professional development for the female students in medical school right now committed to traveling the path you have taken. For more information, please contact us at 713-500-4900 or [email protected].

Dinners with a Doc

Dinners with a Doc allow current students and alumni to connect in small, casual gatherings of four to five students with each alumnus. Graduates can provide invaluable perspective on their careers and advice on how to make the most of medical school. These new relationships will enrich the lives of both students and alumni. Even if you do not live in Houston, we can help you schedule an event for when you visit or create a virtual dinner. For more information, please contact us at 713-500-4900 or [email protected].
