Our school is a leader in biomedical informatics education, and each year our alumni make significant contributions to the field. The Alumni Association recognizes some of our luminaries with the Distinguished Alumnus Awards. One winner is celebrated annually during commencement weekend in May.

Every year, McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics hosts a reception at the American Medical Informatics Association’s Annual Symposium.
