Membership

The UTHealth Houston - Recreation Center never has any initiation fees, hidden service fees or long-term contracts. We sell memberships on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. Those memberships have a determined expiration date, do not require cancelation and do not automatically renew. However, memberships paid by monthly auto-payment (EFT) are different than our other memberships, so make sure to read through all those details if choosing that option. As of 2024, we are now cashless (and checkless!) Payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Contactless Payments. American Express is not accepted. Membership Length

Monthly Auto-Payment (EFT)

Electronic Funds Transfers are automatically deducted from bank account on the 6 - 8th of each month
EFT Authorization Agreement is required to be completed to enroll, revise or cancel
Voided check, direct deposit form or other official bank statement with account and routing numbers required to enroll
First month is paid upfront by debit/credit card and will be deducted from checking account each following month

Monthly

Expires on last day of respective month
Memberships are pro-rated on 15th of each month
Last 7 days of each month are complimentary only with purchase of membership
10% discount for ages 62+ (not valid with any other offer)

Quarterly

Expires on last day of third month
Last 7 days complimentary only with purchase of membership
10% discount for ages 62+ (not valid with any other offer)

Yearly

Expires one year from date of purchase
10% discount for ages 62+ (not valid with any other offer)
