UTHealth Houston Stroke Institute Sponsors and Rice University Partnership
Under the sponsorship of Dr. Sean Savitz and Dr. Xiaoqian Jiang, seniors majoring in electrical and computer engineering at Rice University leveraged medical data provided by UTHealth Houston and graph learning to develop a deep learning model to forecast the likelihood of recurrent stroke incidence to help UTHealth better allocate care to stroke patients.
