Yazan Alderazi, M.D. is a triple board certified Neuroendovascular Surgeon, Vascular Neurologist and Neurointensivist. After receiving his Doctorate of Medicine with honors from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dr. Alderazi moved to the USA to complete residency in Neurology at the Barrow Neurological Institute where he also served as chief resident. He then completed fellowships in Vascular Neurology at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Neurocritical care at the University of Miami and Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology at Rutgers University.
Dr. Alderazi has established and directed several Neurointerventional programs, Neurocritical care units and Comprehensive Stroke Centers including at Texas Tech University Health Sciences in Lubbock and the University of Texas at Houston. He is committed to expanding access to the highest level and quality of neurointerventional therapy for patients with cerebrovascular disease. Several awards across multiple institutions recognize his commitment and abilities in clinical service and teaching service.
Along with invited editorials and several book chapters, Dr. Alderazi has co-authored many peer reviewed studies, and participated in clinical trials, which have been published in Neurology, Brain, Interventional neurology, and the Journal of stroke and cerebrovascular disease. Additionally, he has given numerous presentations nationally and internationally. He is an active reviewer for several medical journals and is a member of several professional societies including; the Society of Vascular & Interventional Neurology, the American Academy of Neurology and the Neurocritical Care Society.

When not treating patients, Dr. Alderazi spends most of his time with his family and enjoys reading about history, playing tennis, hiking and traveling. Dr. Alderazi welcomes new patients and referrals.
