Phi Long Tran, PhD

Biography
Dr. Phi-Long Tran received his Ph.D. degree from Kangwon National University (South Korea) in 2023. Subsequently, he worked as a senior researcher at the Gangwon-Global Innovative Biologics Regional Leading Research Center, concentrating on new molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways of cancer biomarkers in breast cancer metastasis. In 2024, he joined UTHealth Houston as a postdoctoral fellow to investigate new treatment strategies for Breast cancer Brain metastasis.

Research Description
Dr. Phi-Long Tran's research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of oncogenic protein markers involved in tumor progression and metastasis in aggressive breast cancers. His objective is to enhance the safety and effectiveness of combination therapies for breast cancer patients. As a postdoctoral researcher at UTHealth Houston, he is investigating innovative therapeutic strategies by combination of novel inhibitory compounds and FDA-approved drugs to treat Breast cancer Brain metastasis.
