The UTHealth Houston community came together in support of the future of health during the seventh annual Giving Day, surpassing our goal of 500 donors and raising more than $215,000 to advance vital research, education, and outreach efforts.

Students, faculty, alumni, and other UTHealth Houston community members stepped up, contributing to the causes they care about most and spreading the word on social media, inspiring others to join our mission.

Additionally, across our schools, university leadership, alumni, faculty, staff, and community supporters boosted the day’s momentum by matching donations and amplifying the impact of many of the gifts.

“Our Giving Day donors help bring bold ideas to life,” said Kevin J. Foyle, MBA, senior vice president for Development and Public Affairs. “We’re grateful for everyone who gave, advocated, or helped share our message — your support is helping build a healthier future for the communities we serve.”

In-person celebration stations across campus added to the excitement, with attendees snapping photos to share with their friends and followers while enjoying snacks and fun giveaways.
