School of Dentistry featured in IADT newsletter

Back in September, members of the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry pediatric clinic took a group photo to raise awareness for Global Dental and Oral Trauma Day. That photo was featured in the International Associate of Dental Trumatology’s March newsletter.

Global Dental and Oral Trauma Day was established in 2024 to recognize the impact of dental and oral trauma, the dental community’s role in managing dental trauma, and the support of the IADT. The awareness day is celebrated on Sept. 21, which marks the day of IADT’s founding on Sept. 21, 1989.
