Dental hygiene students take part in ADEA presentation in Houston

Dental hygiene students Ashley Bonilla and Mariana Santos Ochoa of UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry took part in a presentation delivered by the American Dental Education Association’s GoDental Team to high school students interested in oral health professions.

The pair, both members of the DH Class of 2025, shared their respective journey and experience in pursuing dental hygiene and answered questions from the audience.

The event was held at the on June 27 at the 2024 HOSA International Leadership Institute held at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
