Event Description
Join us for a 2-hour online training session on Vistelar's Non-Escalation, De-Escalation, and Crisis Management (NEDECM) methods. This interactive class is designed for all staff members to enhance their ability to effectively manage and de-escalate potentially violent situations.
What to Expect:
- Learners will engage in practical exercises and role-playing scenarios
- In-depth discussions on non-escalation and de-escalation techniques
- Strategies for managing crises with confidence and composure
- Instruction from certified Vistelar trainers
What You Will Learn:
Participants will be trained on Module 1 of Vistelar’s NEDECM, including the 12 methods and tactics that will assist learners in preventing, recognizing, and managing workplace violence. The methods and tactics presented in the class will help you create a work environment incompatible with emotional and physical violence.
Class Duration: 2 hours
To prepare for this training you will need to:
- Have the pdf file for Vistelar’s NEDECM participant workbook (this will be shared with you in your confirmation email).
- Have your camera on.
- Fully engage in the class.
- Have an open mind and positive attitude.
- Join in verbal discussions.
Credit: Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
